The Cut Collection was created following a long design process between designer Timo Ripatti and Italian light company, Axolight. The aim of their collaboration was to create an adjustable lamp without any glare or dazzle. Thus the Cut Collection was created, with a refined and one of a kind design. Cut won the "Good Design" award, in the Lighting category for 2019/2020.
The Cut suspension light has a steel painted structure that brings together the light source and a semi-transparent diffuser disk. The two elements are facing each other, a metal disk houses the light source and the diffuser will filter and partially reflect the light.
